Life is Given…
They did it! 💚 Dylan and Jaclyn were rock stars today and Jaclyn’s kidney started working immediately. Best case scenario for the surgeons, and nothing but good reports from all the doctors today. He still has a long way to go and will be monitored closely by the whole Yale team in the weeks and months to come.
The McBeths
We all checked in about 6am this morning and both were in surgery a few hours later. Jaclyn goes first (for obvious reasons) and Dylan starts about 45-60 minutes later. Total surgery time was about 4 hours and then that same timeframe for recovery and “coming to” from their slumbers.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes, prayers, and good vibes from all over the country. We felt all of the love and have shared that with Dylan and Jaclyn. More to come on the recovery journey, but for now good night. 🙂
