Meds, Meds, Meds…
Dylan has met with Yale transplant doctors twice since his discharge. They are happy with his progress and have made a couple minor changes in his meds. He has figured out the schedule for taking his pills to keep nausea to a minimum. Some pills need to be taken on an empty stomach and others with food. Since the doctor also removed Dylan's PD catheter and repaired a hernia where the new kidney was transplanted, he has additional incisions that need to heal. It's one day at a time and each day gets a little better.
